Challenge: Bridges (Classic Editing)
Camera: Olympus D-380
Location: Redding Arboretum, Redding, California
Date: Mar 3, 2003
Aperture: 5.0
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/400
Galleries: Architecture
Date Uploaded: Mar 3, 2003

I used a Velbron tripod and shot across the Sacramento River to capture the starting point of a foot bridge that was suppose to have been completed in the summer of 2002.

I used my newly purchased Fujifilm, Finepix S602 Zoom for the photo.

Very small image; it is difficult to make out what your subject is. The title helps. Note that the object getting the most attention is the broken parts of the bridge at the left. We wouldn't know it was a bridge if not for your title. Is there a way to make sure we know what you want us to look at and see?

its hard to see the subject very well - the photo seems to be much smaller than it needs to be by challenge rules. also, the water looks a bit overexposed (a problem i had with a lot of shots too, dark bridge with light sky, one or the other would come out but never the two).

your photo so small it does injustice to your work. You're allowed 150k in size and you should utilize it so we can see your work properly.

Nice shot. Good cropping.

A nice idea, but the image as a whole doesn't really work for me.

I don't think this picture does much. It needs to be more creative.

Oops. A little more light and sharpness would have made this better.

I had a hard time deciding what I was looking at here...

Why so small? I honestly can't make the subject out well enough to get anything from this photo. Whenever possible try and submit your photos at the maximum 640 on the long side of the photo. Good luck!
