Challenge: Architecture II (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Sony DSC-S30
Location: Haywood County Public Library, Canton Branch
Date: Jan 14, 2005
Aperture: f2.8
Shutter: 8 sec
Galleries: Urban, Architecture
Date Uploaded: Jan 14, 2005

Night shot with 8 second exposure. The "portico", I guess you call it, at the local library, has always intrigued me, and I finally had an opportunity to shoot it. It's very shady, but I shot this at night.

Rotated 4 degrees, cropped, adjustment layer channel mixer, adjustment layer curves, resize, unsharp mask.

This is the central gizmo in a ceiling, right? Not a wooden flag? Whatever it is, I'm afraid I don't find it a very interesting subject. It tells me something about the construction of the structure, I guess, but nothing much about it's architecture. Sorry. 4.

Based on your title, I cannot see books nor can I tell it's part of a library. What I do see is an interesting pattern of wooden beams and panels. Shadows appear to be sharp and strong and a bit more than I usually like. Color appears to be off but I do not know what it really looks like. Focus is iffy as I cannot see sharp details of the wood grain.
