 I took this picture from the Tower of the Americas. For the longest time -- 59 years -- this was the tallest, most majectic building in San Antonio until all the new hotels & glass started going up. The architect was superstitious, and designed gargoyles around the spire to protect the building (and its dwellers) from financial disaster during the Depression. Even with all the newer, bigger buildings in San Antonio, this one still stands out in the skyline because of its unique lighting and design.

the boarder does not help this image as a well done boarder can also the image is full of noise from it being a poor night shot.

the building is very nice but the image overall (IMO) is lacking there could be better composer to the entire thing and the framing should be thought over also.

I really think this would have more impact if it was straightened vertically - the exposure is great, and the colors as well.

one of the few in ths challenge with the WOW factor... but i cant tell if it my eyes but it look a fraction crooked to the right. still i love it, 8
