My friend (boyfriend at the time) looking off at something. I was taking photos like mad that day so he had given up avoiding me. I didn't ask him to pose or anything and I got this lovely shot, he actually didn't even know it was being taken. He really is my favorite subject to photograph, especially candidly.
Editing: Dodging of eyes, Saturation, Levels, Brightness & Contrast, Cloning of distracting background things (nothing major), Color Balance, Saturation again (Red +14, Yellow -16), Resize, Sharpen. |

little bit of weird stuff going on with the edge of his cheeck. You probably cut it out from the background in photoshop....just could be a little smoother thats all. Also it would have been nice to see you remove the blemishes on his chin and beneath the corner of his mouth. Its so easy to do, its almost a sin that you didn't! :) |

Composition feels very cramped to the left- not sure why half his ear is missing. Nice capture of mood though. |

I like this portrait, nice lighting and a good catch. I don't think it really embodies pure job - he looks more quizzical to me - sort of smiling in spite of his concern.
Whatever the emotion he is demonstrating this remains a very nice portrait. |

I not to fond of this shot. The lack of background throws it off because of the brightness. It is however an interesting portrait shot with great clarity and color. Keep up the good work and best of luck in 2005. |

Okay image...I much prefer to see the eyes captured when zoomed in so tight. Nice crisp focus. |

Wonderful shot...the white background works welll... I think cloning out some of the facial blemishes would help. |
