This should have scored much, much higher. Excellent work. |

Nice tones, diasgonal composition; looks like it could be a bit dangerous though. |

I recognise this - I remember recommending this very crop. I think it works really, really well because of that strong diagonal intersecting the lower corner. The toning is a little too orange for my tastes, I think it would better suit a more subtle yellowey-brown sepia-like tone. 9
It's a lovely capture of a moment frozen in time. I'm sure many of us can identify with how utterly engrossed in his own world the little boy is at this moment.

Very cute candid. I really like the diagonal lines of the road and kerb, I'm glad I spotted this one, I voted it too low the first time. Bumping up to a 7. |

I like the square crop here and the diagonal lines of the curb and bricks. |

i like everything about this image except the negative space behind the child. crop off 40% from the left, and you'd have an absolutely killer image. good luck with the rest of the voters! |

shame about the drain, maybe a tighter crop and a bit more contrast and you have a great image- good luck |

Nice candid, but I don't care for the square crop. Cropping of around the bottom 1/3 really helps the composition, IMHO. I like the toning. |

Reminds me of a famous photograph titled "The artist lives dangerously". Good composition but I would prefer a darker sepia tone. |

I like this image a lot. Excellent compostion, focus and texture range.
I'm not crazy about the sepia finish, I think without it, the tonal range would have been much better. My oponion though..doesn't change the fact that you've taken a wonderful picture. Has mood and feel to it. |
