| its a very nice photo with a very pretty model, however, the reflection of light right off the eyes is just plain weird. maybe dont have her look directly at the camera? |

For two weeks I have been returning to this photograph. I like portraits but didn't give this higher than a 7. Why, I wondered, because those eyes and her face come out splendid, the crown in the hair and the necklace gives the idea that it is a special occasion and the lying in a landscape composition is a good idea as well.
I think my 'problem' is the arm under her head leading out of the frame to the right. It looks strange, out of place and it is lit in a similar way as the upside of the face (low fill-light?) and therefore draws attention it doesn't deserve. |

| THis is a great portrait, but the angle is awkward to look at. I'd like to see it rotated counter-clockwise, at least a bit. |

| Pretty portrait - those are some very blue eyes. The facial expression appears slightly strained, but other than that this is a good shot. |

| Solid portrait... very pretty. Great lighting... I love her eyes... this is one the girl should love! not much I can comment on, except I do feel she looks a bit unnatural, because I can't tell whether that is part of her dress she is leaning on... or something else... it also just slightly bothers me that the tip of her shoulder is cut off... as I think that the roundness would have been good in this photo.. and maybe a bent arm to lean on? always difficult to cut off limbs. |
