It was a framing exercise for me. I'm not sure if it's innovative, but I've never photographed down a tube before. I like circle framing of the tube and the square cropping.

great job with the framing, but it is a little too standard, nothing really sets this one aside from the others

Great Photo, I love the way the circle fills the square. The focus seems a little soft.

just some comments not criticisms. i like the kids triangular stance. thr triangle within the circle create nice geometric shapes. A lower perspective more eye level might create a better connection with the subject. I'm thinking a little tighter crop would bring the kid out more. Shallower DOF to blur background. These all may detract though from your intended(?) "down the barrel" look. It's good though. NIce work!
