Thanks Jeremy....and guess what?
Hello,
I'm a picture researcher seeking images for a new book on Digital Travel Photography by visual arts publisher, AVA (see //www.avabooks.ch) and author: Duncan Evans, (UK). I enjoyed looking at your work on the web today and wondered if you might be interested in submitting some images for consideration?
I particularly liked the following images:
broad street
intricate versus lines
belfast city hall
Important: if selected for publication, AVA will need high res tiff files at 300 dpi for reproduction. Actual picture sizes should be minimum of either 250 mm wide (if landscape) or 250 mm high (if portrait). There may also be a few technical questions to answer about the piece/s, which I will email out at the appropriate time. Please let me know if this is likely to be a problem.
If this sounds of interest to you, could you email me as soon as possible..... and I'll be happy to send you further information about the publication.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes, Sarah
Don't know what may come of it but it certainly made me feel a lot better when I got this on Friday. |

I love the repeating of the streetlights. good exposure, the clock face in the background is a tad hot but probably could not be helped. |

Nice shot. I love the perspective with the lantern so predominant. I'm not sure I like the color treatment. I think b&w or sepia might be better. |

Is this Philly? That looks like William Penn. This is a really cool photo, but sadly, it's a bit grainy. I love the composition and crop. The lights going down the street really lead your eyes too! Excellent capture, but again... grain. If you could take this one again on a tripod with 100 ISO set and leave the shutter open much longer, I bet you could get a truly awesome photo from this very spot! Good luck :) |

I love the contrast between the light in the forground and the clock tower in the back, but there is a little too much yellow in this shot (aside from the clock tower). |

would be a very good photo, but too much noise and yellowish colors are not very pleasant |

Just a few points here
i would have made the foreground abit more blurey so that it didn´t take anything away from the tower and so that the viewers focus is diverted to it., also i would have taken it abit further out so that the lamps would form a illusion of a gateway to the tower, but other then that great picture.
