i like this shot. I think there is too much light in it tho. Perhaps a faster shutter speed, lower iso or larger ap. might have brought out more details in the overexposed part. Regradless, good stuff!

just letting you know that if you do that in public, its illegal... but it makes a nce pic, the colors at the end of the flame are very neutral, i like it , 8

Dude that is dangerous. I read a few years ago about the canister exploding and burning the man to pretty much unrecognizable state.

The pic however is pretty good, if a little bright.

its a cool concept. but the fire could be nicer. ive shot with fire a few times, and it has a lot of potential. here there isnt enough detail in the flames. but i understand it has a lot of motion, and it would require a shutter speed which is very very short to capture it properly, something which maybe wasnt available during the shoot. but i like the idea, and its still nicely executed. 7

A very interesting effect. Another way to enhance it is by having a third hand quickly move a piece of semi transparant acetate right in front of the flame. This allows a higher definition of the transiting colors in the flame. However, your image is direct and to the point. Good capture. Bumping up.

The flame is cool, including the hand, stick, and can take away from the effect in my mind. There's no mystery. 4
