 This is a self-portrait that I have done of myself. I completed a earlier series of similar photographs for a contest and I thought this would be a good example of one of my favorite techniques.
This style of painting is a mix of my two favorite styles, "open-shutter photography" and "painting with light". I used a strobe light to capture my self image and then used lights to create my background. The most dificult aspect of this picture was to make sure that I did not over exposure myself on the image.

The double imaging here draws away from the picture

that blue "steam" is a reflection on the wall? I think it's very cool, and a nice entry in a tough category - 7
