Challenge: Breaking New Ground (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Nikon D70
Location: Chicago, IL
Date: Jan 18, 2005
Aperture: f22
ISO: 800
Shutter: 1/10
Galleries: Abstract, Action
Date Uploaded: Jan 18, 2005

Taken at the underground tunnel that connects the Blue Line with the Red Line at Chicago's El Jackson Stop. Blurring was accomplished by zooming the lens and out while pressing the shutter. Because I had a lot of dust spots, I had to apply NeatImage and Gaussian blurred the result to lessen the spots.

Nice surreal look to it; seems like it could use some more contrast. Bumping up.

A nice shot, but a little under exposed - I have taken shots like this myself, and always think they benefit from some nice highlights. 6

i love this technique. you've produced a interesting image here. i'd find it more enjoyable if it was a bit lighter, but that's just my opinion. you should check out some of xion's work, or mine ;-)

Wouldn't really work without the title. Good idea but needs development. 6

One of the few "swoopy" & "blurry" shots that show good composition.

This is cool, a bit flat/grey though. Could use some levels/curves adjustment. I like the technique, you can still make out what the photo is.
