This homeless man comes down to the Harbor every day to feed the birds. His favorites are the ducks but the seagulls are the more aggressive. He feeds them cooked rice. I came down to the Harbor to shoot pictures and found him alone on this very cold day. After shooting several pictures, I gave him some money. At first he refused, but then I asked him to take it to buy some more food for the birds. His eyes lit up and he graciously accepted.
I used a polarizer filter. I cropped, sharpened and slightly increased the contrast. As allowed in the rules I did some cloning to remove some unwanted elements.

A very nice capture with great seagul definition. A very advantageous angle.

Nice shot... the stop action of the birds in flight is a big plus for this photo.
