 Who is more faceless than the men who take your garbage? The furnace broke down at work affording us a delay the Tuesday after "Faceless" was announced. I set up my camera and checked the views from the attic windows. When I heard them coming I raced up for a few grab-shots.

I like this because of the color grouping at the lower left--it's so bright compared to the destination of the green bag. I hope the subtle colors on the snow come through well enough to be appreciated--it was pretty morning light.

Do I expect this to do well? No. I'm hoping for a 5.9 to 6.1 (O.k. actually I'm hoping for a top ten, but I'm not expecting it.)

(BTW, our garbage is collected on Tuesdays--I just wanted the alliteration in the title.)

Cropped, levels, selected dayglo jacket and inverted the selection so it wouldn't be affected by some of the other color adjustments--similarly for the yellow and green objects. Resize. USM. A cute little border...

Indeed the most mundane photograph I have seen in a while.
Simple and beautiful.
Unfortunately I did not vote on the faceless challenge, but this one should have been in a much higher place!

Nice use of trimary color. The yellow, green, and orange, all surrounded by white.

Good technicals on this one (white isn't easy). If it had been mine, I"d probably have cropped severely to keep just the man and the yellow and green thingees. Or in some other way gotten rid of the back of the garbage truck. But it's yours, its good, and I hope you do well with it!
