 ok yes it is grainy/noise but i could not help it if i don't pull this shot from the challenge this is my lame explaination..............here goes

I was i the car at a stop with my dad, and was explaining to him the 3fps function of the d70 when...out of the blue this old lady the 1 in the picture came out of the bus waiting area and steped into the street to flag down the bus i was at ISO 1600 and i had gotten as fast as 1/5000 shutter speed when isaw this all out of the conor of my eye i instantly took the shot at what ever i was at (setings wise), and though nothing of it......untill i got home saw it as a possible canidate for the challenge and here i am.

with that sayed i will attempted to make more nitice of my ISOs in the future and that is why it is so grainy.

i did some contrast adjust bumped up the red in curves and then did a general (RGB) adjustment for the overall image.

Was this photo taken at a distance? It just appears to have a lot of noise in it. Maybe try it with a noise filter such as neat image. It would do wonders for the shot. Even try it in black and white, it possible would look pretty cool and it would iliminate a lot of the noise.
