 My daughter was helping shovel snow and the sight of her wielding that large shovel was too much to pass up. Wish I had time to change lenses (a 135 mm was on the camera) because I would like to have captured more of the background in order to emphasize her small stature with that large shovel and huge amount of snow.

I rotated and cropped, added a few adjustment layers (channel mixer, curves, levels,hue/sat), USM, added the border and dodged out a few shadows in the snow.

I decided to add the selective desat. later, I hope I made the right choice.

the sepia coloring with the blue shoveling and pink pom-pom is excellent! This looks like one of those greeting cards...

I love the photo, the colors just pop out at the viewer. The only thing I don't like is that border, it's overpowering. Really nice image though.

The angle really helps with the off-balance feeling, and I think the wide white border was a great choice. Without both those elements, this wouldn't have been quite a good. Nice work.

O like the selective desat here. a hint of pink and blue, does look good.
