A few pictures with young and old hands, in black and white as well, were submitted, but this one has a very loving feel to it. |

Our son was born just three days ago so I am a sucker for this one right now.
If I was being picky I'd say that little thing on the baby's third finger distracts the hell out of me for some reason and that the point of focus seems to be a little too far back, but it is still a touching image.
Got a feeling some may not like the link to the challenge and tell you that Old & Young is not Old & New but as long as it is not another picture of phones, it's OK by me. |

I would love to see the skin tones here. The grayscale looks a little drab. |

You did very well on the composition, because my eye is lead directly to where the baby's fingers are touching the wrinkled knuckles of the elder person. For a blk/wht photo, there isn't enough variation in tone for my taste - it looks like maybe you used a flash, which has made everything in the foreground the same shade of grey. |
