Can't explain it but for some reason I really like this shot. I think the grain effect worked well in liking of the photograph. Technically sound, great shot!

Reminds me of Gringo's profile page photo. Whether it is his or not, superbly done. The tones, textures, grain, lighting - all great. Perfect compostion within the frame and of the man in shadow.

I like everything about your picture. The placement, the pose, the lighting and the grainy appearance. You might get knocked down in this challenge because some might consider that it is showing the subjects face. Great job though.

i'm not sure that i like the grainy aspect of the image, seems it would make a better impression being smoother. however i love the concept for this image
