 Nice, finally a ribbon, and this is a blue.

note regarding Le Louvre photographers: When I was there a guard told me that it is forbidden to use pods in Le Louvre (yes, the outside also belongs to Le Louvre). For this photo I had to put my camera on a trashcan, as he was checking regulary that I was not using my tripod. As an example, the red ribbon for this challenge would be very hard to do without a tripod.
Back to home, I checked the rules that apply to Le Louvre. Two things are prohibited: having a pod inside the museum, an of course professionnal photography without proper authorization. So now you know that you can rightfully use a pod outside (but you have to find a way to explain it)

technical note regarding my camera: on the bottom left of the pyramid, what you see is purple fringing added by the camera.

I think that's le ruban bleu! Grest shot, there's a bit of noise in the clouds which could be tidied up with neatimage.Still a 10!

MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE so far!!! So wonderfully exposed, beautiful colours and composition! I love the gold tones against the pyramids silverish tones, the classical old and beautiful architecture against the way too simple and unfriendly new, the elegant mood of this shot and the tones of the sky and ground, the long-exposured lights as stars which add a nice element to the gloom of these buildings. Stunning! I have been there, but I have never seen Le Louvre sooo beautiful...

This is my pick for the blue! Good luck, absolutely 10!!!

Just lovely! The sky, the color of the buildings...aged and golden vs. pristine and perfect white....the more I look at it the happier I feel! I say 9! Any pointers for me? I can get the lights to magically star....but the sky?
