graininess is a result of a high ISO setting (film sensitivity). When it's dark the camera on auto setting will raise the ISO level to make it brighter but it causes graininess on most Point and shoot cameras. I noticed your background is blurred a bit, good job it definitely improves the shot. |

This is an interesting take on the challenge, and I appreciate the creativity. The mottled background is very distracting - it almost camoflagues the plant. |

You might have tried repossitioning the little trycycle to get the light from differnt angles. I like the quality of the light. |

Not sure if I totally understand the 'old' and the 'new'. The tree trunk is old and the little cart made of wood is the new? |

You've got some bad JPEG artifacts in there. Set the camera to take pictures at a hivher quality or set a lower compression rate when saving it after editing.
I can't see a distinguishable difference between the elements that would show me what is old and what is new. The plant is cut off at the top, and the front wheel is in the shadow (it should be lit). 4. |
