 An egg was hollowed out and a hole large enough for the tip of a dental curing light was cut in the bottom. A similar hole was cut in the bottom of the egg carton and the black velvet cloth under the carton. The curing light was placed in the hole and into the egg from underneath. The outside the egg lighting involved a 100 watt bulb from about 5 feet away covered with a lampshade.

I gave this a 7 despite neatimage fuzz and some noise. but this was creative and probably should of scored higher. Nicely done

Gorgeous title, I love this pic. I think your lit egg could be less bumpy near the apex. Great idea!

The idea is awsome!
I am not too crazy for the grain but I love the lighting and colors.
I find this photo to be really funny and it answers the challenge perfectly.
