 quill pen created from some feather a friend plucked of some bird. I made it into a quille by trimming and making the tip. Used some printer ink catridge as ink. I have been using a fountain pen for years now so I pulled out the old trusty and made some nice squiggles and signed my autograph. Cropped, cloned out some blobs I made my accident with the quill pen. Unsharpen masked a little.

Maybe I am being pedantic but that spelling mistake in the title really annoys me.

The idea and the image don't annoy me at all though, I like both. Imaginative take on the challenge theme.

Now this is a WOW! How creative and imaginative to think of this, a ten in my book. Very well excuted and the black and white makes it more dramatic and eye pleasing. I like it! 10

Very clever. Of course we have the contrasting writing instruments but I think it is impressive that you did not write anything but rather you doodled. This has made the shot interesting. Great imagination and good luck.

I think this picture would have been more successful if you'd have worked a little harder and written something meaningful on the pages. For example, Shakespeare on the right and a modern author on the left... That would have earned this a 10.

Great idea but the image feels a little stark and bright and could have been improved with a little bit more artistic writing.
