Apparently it was difficult for people to see that the NEW martini glass is standing on OLD washed glass. Your title says Martini a hyphen then Glass...stating they are two different things. I think it was a great idea, sorry more didn't get it. |

To take this one step further, placing the Martini glas on a bed of sand, would certainly meet the challenge |

I'm not getting the old to new connection? There must be one or you wouldn't have submitted it, right? |

I don't get how this fits in the challenge... Maybe I am just missing it. |

At first, I didn't get the old and new at all. Now I do, though! Very nice idea and quite an attractive shot. I'm not horribly crazy about the sheet, but don't know why. Love the sharpness of the glass. |

I do not understan where new and old are represented in this picture. The only connection I can make is between the quartz like stones a and the glass they could/will become but I think if that was the case your title should have reflected glass or quartz and not specifically the "martini glass." |

Don't see the new vs old very clearly in this, nice picture however. |

How exactly does this fit the challenge. I dont see it demonstrating the juxtaposition of old and new. Also, if you use a sheet for a background, its best to overexpose it by about 2 stops so that it's not distracting.
