The black abacus was brought back from China by my grandfather in World War II. Truly 'old'.

I like the concept but not the execution of it. The background detracts from the idea.

The idea is so good but the shot just isn't attractiv, could be the background, the setup......

over-sharpened for web. I find that images with lots of small, bright highlights benefit from raising the value of the "threshold". It allows you to sharpen with an eye to the rest of the image. Do a search on the DPC threads -- there has been some discussion about unsharp masking that is worth reading.
