A photo of an old LCD clock on my shelf. I used really low light to get the dark feel (and to keep there from being reflections)

The hardest part was timing. I had to wake up at about 2:50, set up, and then only had 60 seconds to shoot before I had to stop when the clock hit 3:01

no, but really, It was a pain becuase I had to reset the clock (it only adjusts forward) each time that it hit 3:01. It wasn't that bad though

Edditing: slight increase in contrast, cloned out a few annoying specks and things I didn't notice, and reducing the saturation of cyan around the clock display to get rid of glare, as well as to get rid of a bit of chromatic fringing on the dials.

I hope I do well on my first member entry....

note: this was the 8'th photo submitted, so there is a certian ammount of truth to this

Very unimaginative and unartistic shot. Lighting is dull and doesnt give picture any credits. The picture is not leveled either. This shot, from a totaly darken room couldve brought better results. gl.

This really has nothing to do with your photograph, but I'm always a little put off when one mentions DPC in their title. To me this feels like sucking up and I don't like people sucking up... I don't let this effect my voting, but if I feel this way, I'm sure there are others who WILL let it effect their voting.
