| Without a doubt this was the best picture in the challenge. I can see how it got hurt by the literal interpretation of the rules. But still I expected it to make it to the top ten. Don't get discouraged by narrow minded voters. |

Oops. A misinterpretation of the rules. This is still a very interesting photo with nice composition, texture, and detail. I always prefer when the subject is not looking at the camera. It tends to emphasize the fact that there is a camera and another person involved. I much prefer the subject looking away at something. This creatres curiousity and wonder about what the subject is looking at or thinking about. Good job.

| Really nice portrait, great colors, great lighting, nice details, only problem: you\'re looking UP at her, and you\'re supposed to be taking the photo looking DOWN according to the rules of the challenge, so I\'m not sure if you\'re going to get a passing mark. . . |

| Very nice image. Good use of value in the patterns in the sky and on the ground. This picture is very moving because of the different effects used. Good job. |

| Wow that's a VERY GOOD shot. But it doesn't convey "from above". Although I guess it could in a spiritual way. I'll give the benefit of the doubt here. :) Love this picture. 8. |

| Good composition. If this is a candid, even better. If not, the model should be expressing something. That's just my opinion. |

| Very, very nice photo! Challenge - not met, you are looking up. Focus seems strongest on the steps, I think it kinder to the lady to focus on her (like the steps are more important than she is?) I love the sky, very dramatic! Color seems very good. 5 Swash |

| the shot was a good idea, but it's missing some elements. it probably would have been great silhouetted against the sky with low light on the stairs |
