Shot with an overhead light on a dimmer and a desklamp. Attached a pencil to the arm-thingy (too technical?) with scotch tape so I could move it for the blur.

Took about 150 tries to get two or three that I liked. I hope to get better. Sure was fun, hope it does better in the rankings.

A very interesting shot. I love the sepia tones and the dark shadows! :)

I can recognize the old-fashioned typewriter. Nice capture of its motion. Nice rusty duotone look. A tad brighter might help (or maybe its my LCD).. 8

great motion blut and tone. one of my favorites of the challenge.bold simplicity. only knock is that the lighter band in the backround isnt parallel with the top of the frame

I think this would look a lot better if you took the motion out.

ahhhh...now I see it! Unfortunately I suspect this will be lost on a lot of people who have never seen an old fashioned typewriter. But I love this.8

How many of us recognize a striking typewriter key any more? Very good and subtle capture. Hope voters stop to look at this one and it does well.

Quite blurry and dark feeling even though we're now in a mechanized world which moves back and forth in good speed. So some more exposure and perhaps a bit more thought for the background if there's anyway to enhance it's support for the main theme might make this better. Nice idea, in any case!

I can here it now from the younger generation... What the hell is it supposed to be! Sometimes I miss the low tech days...
