 My wife again as the model. Well it´s a speed challenge and I couldn´t think of anything better, at least it meets the challenge! Hopefully does better than my last flower shot, in Bokeh (not complaning about the score, I think it got exactly what it deserved, especially since most people didn´t think it met the challenge).

Shot with a black backdrop and lit with my two flashes and a transmittor, used a polarizer to enhance the colours. Did a little spot editing with healing brush and clone tool to remove a reflection from the flash in the nailpolis on her thumb and to remove a little sloppy nail polish from her skin.

I would have preferred to have a different, more standard aspect ratio for this photo. But even this way, the composition is perfect, with my eyes going from lower left to the upper right and back, constantly exploring the image. I just love this one, my pick for a ribbon.

I like the idea a lot. Your composition is good, but I would have preferred if the left most finger wasn't in frame as it seem to be just hanging there out of context.

Very interesting...The flower seems to resemble a ring and she is plucking away towards the inevitable...NOT...c'est la vie. Nice colors, composition, well thought out. Pity the flowers sacrificed to that small rhyme.

I have done a shot with the same title for hope challenge :D
the petals seem to be a little blown out,not much detail in there. I like the way petals are separeted totally from background.

ok this is probably a little nit picky but her nail polish clashes with the color of the flower making it very distracting.
