The blue bit at the bottom of the globe spoils the effect of the 'rings' a little. I would have preferred a tighter crop personally.

Very good. This loses impact due to poor framing. I would have cropped out most of the empty space.
Another idea might have been to tie a light to a string and let it swing around. This may have created a more uniform orbit (which may, may not have worked better) |
