It's an interesting image, but your photo has no composition.
The houses are just a distractor, as the tree to the right edge of the photo.
It seems you have a good photography-eye, but try to improve your composition and rule of 3rds. :) I hope this constructive opinion can be of some use. |

I think that a bit of fill flash would help here, to make the sign stand out from the background. |

Good subject but poorly executed; the composition could be better (rule of thirds applied); a closer cropped shot that showcases the flowers would really help this shot. A different angle to bring out the street sign would make a better compositon. |

What a pretty stop sign... But this picture has too much background noise. |

Good sign to photograph, would have been better if you had lightened it some. A better less cluttered angle would have helped also, assuming there was such an angle. |

I dearly love this image. (Wonder if it's somewhere in Hawaii? - I know, I'll find out when the Challenge is over) Anyhow, the Stop Sign in all its flowery glory is your story. Consider zooming in, getting even lower, or otherwise changing your angle to bring out this beauty and avoid the distraction of the houses and clutter in the background. |

Hello!
Composition: You subject is dead center. It would have been better visually off to the side or from a different angle or perspective. There are also many distracting elements to the photo including the light coming out of the house. Also the light post on the right is a bit distracting.
Lighting: Could be a bit brighter. I know its tough against the sky...but a good flash, or maybe even car headlights from far away would have added some contrast to that the photo isn't quite so "flat".
Creativity: As you've seen from many of the entries there is some really creative stuff out there! Its an interesting looking sign with the plant growing up it. Still sort of "snapshot-y" as far as creativity.
Overall: A nice effort, but could be much better with just a few small tweaks that I mentioned above. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though. Keep up the good work, and think way outside the box for that extra boost of creativity! :) |

probably would have been better if you were closer and from the front...maybe trying to fill the whole frame with the roses and the stop sign...the background really detracts from this photo...3 |

The title goes well with the shot but I find it lacks clarity. Might I suggest turning your camera sideways/vertical to get a taller shot and less width. I think you would have found a more appealing shot and would have gotten rid of the distracting buildings on either sign of the stop sign. Good luck in this challenge. |

Too bad the sky wasn't clear blue that day! Would have made for a fabulous shot! |
