Use of Speed Lite 550 EX Flash with softbox, directed to left on a mirror, the light reflected back on her. No crop, saturation, curves, levels, usm and border.

My youngest daughter, born 1991.

Ignore all the negative comments. :) It's a lovely photo and captured just the way you wanted it. Her lips, skin tone and hint of hair on the right are done perfectly to my tastes.

Great capture, maybe a little light on the right side of her face, just so it is not in complete darkness? Excellent though :)

I think this is too much in your face (pardon the pun). The subject seems so close as to be overwhelming, so that the moody & mysterious effect of your strong side lighting is diminished. It feels more like a shot of an eye and a nostril to me. Sorry. 5

Seems a little too close. Maybe it would be more dramatic if you were to back up a little and show more of the forehead and the chin.
