I like the path of the light across the diagonal and the perpendicular diagonal of the floor boards. |

This is a very appealing photograph. The building is interesting and the shaft of sunlight is an irresistible beacon that drives the whole process of appreciation for the viewer. Even when viewed as a thumbnail from a distance, so you can't tell what it's a photo of, it's still a compelling image ... which just underlines the strength of the composition for me. And up close, the longer I look the better it gets. 9
Second Opinion: My top choice for this challenge ... because it's the most effective use of light to elevate an otherwise unremarkable subject into something special, and because of the very thoughtful & precise composition I feel this photograph rewards a few minutes digestion. Let's hope it doesn't get overlooked in favour of the more flashy but less nutritional snacks on offer. It's a 10. |

Its a wonderful idea, I just think that it may have worked better with a little more drama. 7 |

I absolutely love this one :) Just a little something I wish is some detail in the path. But this is great photography. Well done. |

I like the effect of the light on the sand in the background, and then the wood in the foreground, but I wish the individual planks were more apparent in the floor. Beautiful photo. |
