Strong use of light, lovely DOF, excellent exposure and a dynamic shot. The image does look super-smooth (which has removed some natural charm of texture).
Border does nothing for me as it clashes with the more natural colours. |

Nice focus and lighting. This would of been great in the Arch. challenge. Good for this challenge as well. |

Nicely composed image, however the border is killing the result. |

Black or white border would have been better I think. |

The yellow border is, hmm, how can I put it nicely.... awful! Otherwise a really great photo, but that border just distracts me way to much. |

The shot is nice enough, but the border is extremely distracting. |

Nice picture, the yellow border is distracting though, pulls my attention away. |

A meticulously composed and cropped image. Just feels a bit short on soul to me, as if there's no real point to it. It's probably just the careful symmetry that doesn't excite me. The photo itself is technically very good, and it does showcase the effect of light quite well. 7 |

Wonderful architecture shot, but gawd, that border.... yuck! 8 anyway, because we are supposed to vote photos and not borders. :) |

Maybe its the yellow but my eyes keep getting drawn to the border. I don't normally dislike borders. A very nice shot although slightly over exposed above the arch loosing detail in that area. |

I do this myself and not sure if you have done anything about it but if you were just a hair over to the right it would have been perfect framing. I like the crop. Good photo |

having a colored border rarely helps a photo. In this case, since there's already a lot of yellow, I would have used black. I think it would also be better if you tried to remove some of the yellow, as your camera was apperenlty on the wrong exposure setting. Unless the walls really were yellow.... |

This is beautifully smooth lighting and the symmetry is great. I actually like the border but others probably will criticize it |
