 Laser pointer beaming through a glass filled with water, and a few drops of milk added for reflectance of the beam. Light held in place by flexible clamp. Little cloning to remove some unwanted spots, usual PS (levels and curves) with NeatImage follow up.

Critique Club- Your composition here is very nice - your glass is nicely offcentered and the lines from the laser light help lead your eye through the photo. I also like the way background flows from the blue into the reds. Very nice job!
