I think you have to be in an altered state to get this. |

Thanks for all the nice comments. I did not have a clue as to why the picture changed as I moved back and forth looking at it. After giving it some thought, I believe it may be because of temporary retinal retention of a bright image. By moving you move the image you just formed and overlay it on the new image and simultaneously form a new image which is then moved and overlayed. That will occur until you stop moving. Just a theory. If anyone else has a clue, I am still a littlc curious.
By the way, if you want to see the image I was trying to create when I couldn't make this one come out and started blurring it, take a look in my portfolio at the picture: Anatomy of Incandescence. I have been trying to develop the techniques of combining very bright and very dark elements in the same picture.
I am glad that others enjoyed experiencing the same phenomenon that puzzled me.
For any who did not understand. The title is a recommendation as to how to view this picture so as to experience a particular phenomenon.
Thanks again. Especially to the extraordinary five people who gave this a 10. |

again, THANKS FOR SUBMITTING THIS!!! obviously, the effect was lost on most, but it does appear that at least a handful of people did get it, and had fun rocking back and forth. |

Wow, I like how this photo shows the essence of the existenstinial being. It shows the search we all have for the truth that lies in the core of our souls if we had to time to stop and find it.
Well, interesting shot, I can't really see anything defined, but it is a different take on this challenge. |

Hmm...this is quite a daring entry. Technically a very well shot, obviously intentionally out of focus light source. I fear this will not be palatable among the voters. I'll gve you a 5. |

Lacks a subject and does not hold my interest. Needs something more. |

Wow...that is a clever effect! I hope enough people read the title and actually do what it says. Photographically it's not that interesting and will probably be clobbered, but it is interesting and innovative none the less! |
