A quaint little church turned into a home, on an aptly named country lane. The back end of the property overlooks the ocean. Definitely a heavenly haven.

This is so sweet. I didnt know churches like this existed with a sign like that. It sure could very well be heaven as pretty as it is. You did good with this as far as framing.. Maybe a little more sun or earlier in the day would give it the right amount of light for it to really shine.

What a cool place to live and a wonderful eye for capturing this with the sign. Lighting could be a little better, as things look a little dark to my eye, but sometimes you just work with what you have. I do think I would probably crop more of the bottom portion of the photo, as I don't think that pile of snow really adds anything to the composition. By cropping that off, my eye goes more naturally to the sign and building, and less to the foreground. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your generous votes. I never thought I would score where I did but am happy with the results of my very first challenge submission. This is not quite the shot I wanted it to be but will keep trying. Thanks!

You need to get in closer to the sign and get a more contrasty picture and this could have been very good. Nice idea.

The subject is interesting; the is flat and contrast could be inproved; composition is good bu the sign tends to get lost. I might suggest a closer shot of the sign with a small aperature setting to get a long depth of field for the church.

Very difficult lighting conditions, but I'd like to see the building a little brighter.

This pic is nice, but the colouring, contrast and fade need to be adjusted. Nice shot overall though.
