Nice soft lighting. Center is well focused. Background is pleasantly blurred (I be you have received comments that you should crop it out - I like it. I think it should have been more from above to fully meet the challenge. But good.

Lovely, soft, and the lighting is terrific. Even though you've got the veins sharp, It still looks just slightly out of focus for some reason. Still, high marks from me.

It's a very nice photo with nice colors. I am wondering how many comments you are getting on how it is not demonstrated by the photo that you have taken the shot "From Above"?

Beautiful colouration - and one of few macros that have kept a sense of looking down as well as the depth of field.

I particularly like this flower shot because of the way some of the background has been included. Whilst it's still not overly obvious that it's taken from a vantage point above, it does make it a little clearer as well sa adding a really interesting pattern and use of DOF.
I don't like the colour balance - seems overly orange throughout the image to me.

Gorgeous rose, but it difficult to tell if the vantage point is from above of from a side due to the lack of reference point.

I'm a sucker for flowers photos. In this photo, cutting off the bloom actually accents the overall picture.
