This is my son Michael who is less than a week old. He was born 4 weeks early and he doesn't like having that tube in his nose.

Not sure this will go down too well but I wanted to enter something using my new model. Some may not like the style but I wanted to try something different, that's what being part of this community is all about for me.

I look at this and I can feel his pain, but maybe that's just because I am his dad.

To all those who comment that the tape is distracting, I agree but he needs that tube to feed so there's nothing I can do about it.

Great Photo! I give it a 10! Some may say that there is too much brightness.. but what a heck... The baby is "coming" out to light! ;) (well, he aint coming out bandaged but in this case its ok).. also the light could be cause he has a big hospital white lamp over.. Anyways.. (again) Great Shot!

Nice title ;) YOur picture is cool, if only it wasn't over-exposed this much! I like it nonetheless. 8.

Awwww. . . .that is VERY painful to see a child in pain like that!

This is an image with great potential. Personally I would have prefered color so as to give the tongue its more natural hue, only because it is the most outstanding part of the composition. However, outside of that minor observation this is indeed a very appropiate capture which exemplifies pain and discomfort. I take the desire to blow out some tones as part of a presentation effect and here we lean on the viewer to reconstruct these areas. The impact of the image is immediate. 6

Awww but babies don't cry just because of pain! They have the cry in many forms to let us know what they want.....congratulations if this little one is yours to treasure

Good title. I like the feel of this pic, but the blown-out highlights are a little over the top for my taste. Maybe with more contrast? Nice shot overall.

The overexposed parts dont really do it for me. resonable idea but not well implemented. 6

This picture is too washed out for my tastes. What happened to that poor kid?
