I hope this isn't too obvious, since it's a bit similar to my third-ever entry, Conflict. It's also a bit similar to my pink entry. Eek! But I like traumatizing myself for photos :) These kind are great, 'cause I can get away with looking awful! Like the Conflict shot, I took this in black and white. My eyebrow's driving me crazy in this, but... oh well. Basic editing. :/
I used my grandmother's death (around Christmas last year) as inspiration for the pain, and it worked very well. So for those who think the modeling's bad, I guess my real upset face is unconvincing :)
Editing: Resized, curves, Neat Image, sharpening, cropped out a hint of mouth, border. |

| Great light. Sharp focus, tight composition. If there is a flaw in the photo it might be a somewhat less than compelling actor. We cannot assert that we think she is not really feeling pain, we simply feel she fails to share it with us. |
