I like the portrait an sich and the partial desaturation works well here. But there is a bit too much space around her and the composition is to centered. A 5x4 crop might bring a better balance. I think I'd loose some of the space on the left, she needs the space at the right to look into.

Beautiful candid portrait. One of my favourite shots in this challenge (and not a flower)

Nice shot, but not sure why she is centered in the shot. She would look much better on the left, looking into the frame.

Nice use of selective de-saturation. It could be cropped tighter IMO.

A very good desat effect, a lovely subject and a visionary look. 7

Oh this would have been sooo much better had she not been so centered and that little section on top of her head missing. Cropping it tigher would actually help if that section is missing in the original. (7)

Returning for comment:
The light seems a bit flat but the picture has a certain elegance in it that I can not explain. Over all I like it.
Bumping up.

NIce use of selective desaturation ... like it a lot. Model a bit too centered for me .... 7.

Good shot. I'm not entirely sure if I like the desaturation here or not. And, even with the very pink scarf and hair-thingy, the picture looks more "blue" than "pink". I wish the top of her head were not cut off. With all that, I really like this entry. [8]

Perhaps a little "too" pink. I think this is a very nice shot and if you desat the pink a little it would not be so overwhelming. Like a pastel pink.
