 Just another flower shot. I received a lovely bouquet this week so I thought, why not?
Also, I missed having an update button.

Started out photographing the entire bouquet and I found that a really boring composition, so I separated the pink carnation from the rest with the remainder of the bouquet in the background. I wanted the colours in the background to create a sort of bokeh that framed the pink.

Personally I think there may be a little too much clutter in the background which can be a bit distracting but it is a nice and soft photo.

This is maybe not the best carnation I have ever seen, but the picture is taken perfectly. Background and foreground element work together wonderfully.
