This image makes my stomach heave. It may be pain but it is too graphic for my tastes. |

Interesting idea. The lighting in the back takes away from the picture a bit. |

i'm no expert but in my opinion the title does not match your shot. It shows pain, alright...but the old cross? |

Yikes this is one disturbing photo! Definitely shows pain. Hope you don't get voted down because of the disturbing factor. 10 from me. |

Wow! THAT reaches deep inside of me and reminds me of the greatest pain ever suffered. Thank you for the great illustration. |

Good idea, poor execution.
1. The lighting is great, brings out the detail and draws the view to the center of the piece.
2. The position of the hand is also great, looks like it's contracted in pain.
3. If you're trying for religous conneciton, note that the nails were driven into Jesus' hands and ankles, not wrist.
I still give you a 5 for the attempt.

For an obviously staged shot, this looks fairly believable, although the blood seems a little thin. The bright section to the right & behind the wood (where wall meets floor?) is distracting to me. Needs better focus. B&W? |

excellent idea, not-too-excellent production. Light is way off. |

Very cool concept. The background doesn't really work with that. Imagine same shot with the fingers more bent inwards, a bright back lighting from the right that would create dark shades. The nail would look awsome. Several light compositions could really improve this picture. |

Something not right about the light here, but a striking image that does well in presenting the challenge concept. (8) |
