| I love this shot. To me it contains all the elements required for an excellent photograph. While it may not fit perfectly for the topic at hand, I feel it isn't as far a stretch as others so I am giving it a 9. If the topic would have been DISTRESS, or something along those lines, I would give it a 10. Great job. |

| I'm not sure I connect the picture too much to "pain", but the picture itself is really good. And I even hate the desert, but this picture really appeals to me. The quality is great in its sharpness, contrast and lighting. Since I think dpChallenge voters tend to be way, way, wayyyyyyyyyyyy too anal about the whole "doesn't meet the challenge" thing, I am going to give this a 9 because I think it's such a good photograph! I think you nicely framed it too. |

| Beautiful shot. I see how it could be linked to pain, although it's not really what pops into my mind first when I see it, but I'm giving it high marks because I see some linkage and the shot is superb. |
