I can't see any kind of pain in this image, other than the scar on the chin, but I don't get the feeling of a lesson learned, by looking at this picture. |

I'd suggest looking for a way to make the scar just a little bit more obvious as the primary subject. I like the drama of the lighting, but the lit areas are a little too bright, especially the throat. Well-titled. |

You should have put more emphasis on the scar. It is clear that the facial injury must have been very painful, but the viewer has to search for it. Maybe if your model was touching the scar with the hand it would be easier to see what you're referring to. 5. |
