 I was shooting for the emotional pain that comes with love, though I feel I may of come up a bit short on expressing the pain part of the challenge.

I liked this shot; it did place well, but I thought it would be in top 10..visually appealing color and composition.

I like the detail in this picture. The lighting is very good, as well as the backgound color selection. I don't mind the border, but usually pictures with borders this big get voted lower.

Ouch...you must wonder about the mssing thorn and where it went. the colors are nice.

Very nice. A little bit of pixelation around the thornes, but I'll call that a problem from compression. 8.

This one i really like. The border is a bit bold, but the colors work very well. I like it!

I like the idea, but I think it might have been better if you showed someone's finger getting pricked (to emphasize the pain part). The shot is really clear, although I'd like a lighter background.

Fabulous !!! Nice and simple composition, subdued colors. The only criticism is the lower edge of the border, it could be improved (9)
