| I tonia, I just discovered this shot of yours and I must say, I find it quite appealing, especially as a self portrait. Great compo, color rendition and cool attitude...I really think you should shoot more glamour as you seem to have an eye for it. |

| Thank you all for commenting on my portrait you were all very kind .. I know I should of never put the border it dose take away from the picture I do regret it soo much .. I think the score would of done a lot better without ! |

| Didn't get to vote on this challenge but would have given this one high marks. Really great idea and execution. Your hair rocks and you have a very nice model. I agree with the comments about looking into the camera. Keep up the good work. |

| I think looking into the camera would have added something. The pink border doesn't do anything but take away from an otherwise good shot. |

| I would have preferred to see you looking at the camera rather than making me wonder what's so interesting out of frame. It would also help to draw me into the shot. You do have really cool hair though, and the lighting and focus are good. Overall I like it. |

| Playful! Hair does say a lot about one's personality. Lighting is beautifully rendered. Not crazy about the frame, but it's not a huge distraction. The orientation feels a bit unnatural though. |

| Great self-portrait, you're right look at those curls must be a pain to maintain;-0. Looks like someone is in love with Pink also, guess last weeks challenge was a treat for you. Anyway, the only thing that I would have changed is the Pink border (I'm sure it's just there in this shot to show your personality) but it's very distracting and takes away from you! |

i don't know anything about portraiture, so i'm using your image as a guinnea pig as to what i think i would or wouldn't do in this situation, as well as what i notice and get out of your image.
i think one of the keys to a successful portrait is to capture the essence of the person through their most distinguishing feature; you have certainly done that here! the lighting is a bit unbalanced, but not so much as to overshadow your efforts! good work! |

| I'm ignoring the pink border here, I don't think it helps the image at all, you should be in front of the camera more often, very natural for a posed shot. |
