Easily on of my favorite photos to shot in a long time. It was a fun take on the challenge, since I do not have any interesting bridges within a couple thousand miles. So, I was being creative and thinking outside the box.
Thanks for all the comments. I shot this in extremely low light and had to lighten it on the post processing that made it hard to avoid artifacting. |

right on. i dig it. the area around the child's head feels a bit cluttered (i'd like some negative space there to let my eye in more comfortably). also, the character feels a bit distant (sometimes this is a good thing, but in this case it looks like you just should have walked closer to take the picture or zoomed more) |

Your title wasn't even necessary. . . the image conveys the idea beautifully. My first thought when seeing this was, "my secret bridge (garden)!" Well done and the very, very best of luck. I hope it does well but it is up against some more traditional shots. One of my favorites. P. S. The only thing missing is a reed of grass in the young man's mouth!!! |

Very nice capture and mood. I like the way you toned down the background to isolate the boy on the bridge. A good example of keeping the background from being distracting. Good job 7 |

Change the vegetation, the bridge, and the kid - you captured a bridge to a childhood memory for each of us. Just enough color on the kid's outfit to hold interest. Wonderful shot. |

Excellent take on the challenge. The boy really brings home the thought. Where's his fishing pole? Keep up the good work. |

Very interesting... half desaturation is nice too... just bit dont like colors of sky. |

The desaturation to bring out the blue and red make this picture work. |

Seems a little hazy or washed out. Curves or contrast? Very nice image though!! 7 |

The greenish spots on the boy are distracting, but given limited editing rules I understand :-) |

I like this one a lot! That boy seems to be wondering 'bout something.
Looks like the whole photo has been desaturated, but the boy!
nice one! 8 |
