well it shouldn't be behind mine but it is....lol..sorry for the low palcement this is 1 of the only B&W shots in the challenge with a complette grayscale voting untill this 1 was driving me nutts.
the focus IS off but hey that doesn't make it 179
i mean mine was a total joke and i'm 178 voters need to wake up here

| Cute shot, though the focus appears soft, and it looks like those pretty eyes have been painted in (rough edges). Looks like you're trying to contain a laugh. Let it out. ;-) |

| Hi Erin. :) Just a touch soft. I cut and pasted your pic into Elements and USMed it 125% at .5 Radius 0 Threshold to see how it would look - it really brings the detail back that's lost in resizing. |

| A very sweet girl with an iron will. While not exhibiting ultra clarity, there is great character projection of tolerence and determination. On the lighter side, the feautures are attractive and a [;easure to look at. Bumping up. |

| I think I get what your were trying to do here. I like your makeup and hair. Truthfully, it comes off looking like somewhat of a mug shot. A different background, off-center composition and a smile might make it look like more of a self protrait. |

Composition: 4, I wonder if a less centered composition would look even better? A creative composition could really give this shot a kick
Technical: 5, Love the lighting! Focus looks a little soft, though that is ok if intentional
Appeal: 6, I like the slightly supressed smirk. Captivating eyes, and pretty face

something about the texture (not the subject) of the photo reminds me of a mugshot.. lol
take away the make up, mess your hair a bit, and hold up a lettered sign.. viola! mugshot.. heh guess that makes it a bit unique... |

your titls is exactly what this is missing for me. there's contrast between you and the background, but the tones in your face are a little on the flat side (lots of shades of grey...but no so many blacks or whites. better lighting and less fixing after the fact would solve that i think (but don't really know since i don't know how you lit it :))
i like the pose - kind of a visual affront - no fear or shame...just 'welcome to me'. nice.

| Wish you didnt soften your face so much in post. Looks like you brought the eyes back out, but missed the eye lashes, lips and earings. Nice job with the solid white background. |

| the photo would be much better if you´d crop above the line on your chest - it distracts from your face - then this photo would be very good |
