The portion in the foreground has little connection with its own segment, let alone the whole span of the bridge. It lessens the impact of what might have been a stronger view.

You're to be commended on trying to get this picture. Unfortunately, I think that the close section of the bridge is too light; therefore, detracts from the total picture. But the continuity of the bridge's arches is what I think really could make this picture happen!!

Very cool - the deep shadows look great, and the highlights manage to be bright without being totally blown out. Dramatic and pleasing to the eye; simple black and white works brilliantly here. Focus is great and the bridge really commands attention - nice work.

This bridge looks old and heavy. I love the black shadows and angles.

Wonderful sense of repetition. Nice, sharp lines. The sky still looks a little empty, I fear.

Very nice camera angle and contrast.

Strongly architectural bridge, but the angle seems to do justice neither to the repeating architectural elements on each span nor to the repeating spans themselves. Mostly the photo is water, sky, and piers - each of which is uninteresting.

Great pic. Loved the shadows on the colums!
Maybe if you cropped out those buildings on the background.....

I like the dark black of the bridge arches.

Good angle; good light; good composition; nice detail with repeating patterns.
