 These lovely little flowers have sprung up all over the place in the last week or so. The Germans call them winterglocken, which translates to winter bells. They signal the arrival of spring here in Germany.

CRITIQUE CLUB CRITIQUE

COMPOSITION
I like that you have filled the frame up with the subject, but it still seems a little off to me. Maybe you could have gone for a more abstract feeling and cropped it tighter. Since the lower left really seems to show the "from above" angle the best, perhaps you could have cropped it so that that made up the entire picture.

TECHNIQUE
The contrast between the green and yellow is nice, here, but the lighting seems a little harsh. The natural light works well for the subject, but it seems to make it a bit stark, to me.

OVERALL EFFECT
This is a very good macro, and the focus you have used works well here. I suspect your score suffered because there wasn't a lot in the picture to really grab the viewer's attention, and then keep it.
