Actually, despite not being religious, I just wanted to to depict a visual representation of the departure of human energy, vitality and spirit. Of course death is tough to comprehend but it's comforting to think it all goes somewhere.
Enjoy life while it's still inside you - don't waste a moment.

Shot in gloriously deep RAW format.
Edits:
> cloned skirting board and oddities
> dodge + burn to bring out some detail in trails
> desat on face to make myself look a bit more drained of life(!) than it normally does
> mild noise reduction
> cropped a bit due to detail being lost at 640px
Idea came to me, shot and finished editing all within a couple of hours. |

| The only thing I did not like in this photo was that your upper lip was a bit bright. If that is all I can find must be great; and it is. |

So far, this is my only 10! This is way too cool. I was going through all the moody, angry, shy, and snap-shot self portraits, and then I saw your shot! Congrats on a highly creative and interesting shot. I hope to see it do well.
